To ensure security, GMT smart locks do not support remote unlocking, but can issue temporary passwords remotely. The owner can remotely authorize trusted people to enter passwords locally to unlock.
Most GMT smart locks are powered by dry batteries. Four dry batteries can make the smart lock work normally. Up to eight dry batteries can be installed. If 8 dry batteries are installed, they can normally be used for about one year in non special circumstances, based on 30 times of opening and closing doors every day.
If the intelligent lock cannot be opened without power, the emergency mechanical key can be used to open the door. The key hole is either at the lower middle part of the front panel or at the bottom of the front panel. It is suggested that the user can put an emergency mechanical lock in a commonly used bag or car in case of emergency. At the lower end of the front panel of the smart lock, there is a USB power supply hole, which can be used for emergency power supply through the charging treasure to open the door. If you are not at home for a long time and the fingerprint lock is used infrequently, it is recommended to prepare the emergency battery for replacement.
Please ensure that there is no stain on your finger and keep it dry, and press your finger completely on the fingerprint identification area to try again. If it fails to lock the fingerprint identification continuously, unlock it with a password first, delete the fingerprint on the App and re enter it. You can enter several groups of fingerprints to avoid verification failure due to the problem of the fingerprint itself on a single finger.
GMT smart locks are guaranteed for 3 years and lifetime.
